Bore Cleaner

What do you guys think is the best bore cleaner out there for guys that shoot lead?

A few jacketed rounds through the barrel after lead will clean it out. Then use the usual stuff, Hoppes, etc.

Depends on how bad the fouling is. I find that if I can't shoot a couple jacketed bullets after, I prefer Shooters Choice that's made for lead fouling. However if the fouling is real bad, JB bore paste works wonders.

I've had great success with lead and jacketed rounds using Butch's Bore Shine. Highly recommended.

M-Pro-7 works for me.

For the really tough jobs I pull out my Outers Foul Out II system.

I am not a big believer in cleaning Try and use a single solvent and stick with it for a specific barrel, they can interact badly. I use hoppes mostly because it is cheap, provides limited rust protection, and also seems to lubricate to a small degree. I find shooters choice performs best in terms of lead fouling. I never have trouble with copper fouling.
