They're 16 bucks. not worth the hassle of trying to get them for free. Has he made a 5 figure commission off yet? What do you want him to pay for your admission. So you can buy a boat off of someone else.

I've already got three boats--don't need any more temptation.

I would imagine that with the cost of being in the show comes a pre determined amount of tickets. Being a salesman myself, comped is everything! If you're interested in spending money with me, you will more than likely get something put of the deal either way.

The fact that this guy has already steered me right once in a question, and then offered up the tickets without asking has me strongly considering his dealership even though its 2 hours away.

I previously bought a boat from this POS, and the day after the sale, the over weight sales stooge stopped returning my phone calls. The call was a test, POS verification was confirmed.

If your having a boat surveyed, do the sea trial first if its in the water. Otherwise, if it craps out on the sea trial after paying for a short haul and pressure wash, the broker and seller used you to pay for a bottom cleaning, then thumbed their nose at you! They then relist it with an update to state that the bottom was recently cleaned. You also paid them to find out what needed to be fixed. Total Slime Balls

My favorite saying from the Inspector General, "Everyone you talk to will Lie, Hide, and Deceive". Can't be disappointed based on that premise.

I can't imagine what a show like this in Canada would smell like, where most of the participants haven't taken a shower for at least a week, like at a gun show!

As I expected, Monday afternoon was the perfect time to go. We got there about 1:45, and there wasnt many people made it so much easier to make a decision. Wife had all the time in the world to take her shoes off on all the boats and try out every seating option they had. Then we repeated the process before making our final decision. Both salesmen from the dealership spent a ton of time with us because there wasnt many other prospective buyers. We sat down with both of them and designed what we wanted.

Spent about 4.5 hours there all said and done.

I went last Sunday, loaded up on all the free koozies and key chains.

Renewed my BoatUS insurance to save $50

Discussed the short comings of my boat with the factory folks who were exhibiting there. Got zero relief from them.

Got a lobster roll for dinner on the way home.

All and all on par with going to a gun show ..................

    Thanks Ron!

I was dumbfounded by the note terms I was approved for. 0 down 6.5% for 15 years. ROFL it's a boat, not a house!

Yeah right? Guy asked me if I wanted to finance for 5 years and I laughed. I said 3 and it'll be paid by December.

Lol I'm gonna leave it at 180 months just because theres too small a difference in rate to matter for the short term. Keep my monthly payment down, then whack the principal with my quarterly bonuses.

I'm just baffled that someone would buy a boat for 0 down and 180 months and think that's a good plan.

Home equity loans are being advertised below 3%. Rate was 4% with no early pay off penalty, late fall at my credit union. The CU "Boat Loan" rep was impossible to get a hold of and never returned phone calls. CU value of used is based on 80% of NADA, same for Boat US insurance valuation.

Post income tax (State & Federal) money would be over 25%
