So, it seems that with this and things done in the somewhat recent past that it must be ok to break state and/or federal laws when you're only trying to prove a point. [puke]

So when is the arrest warrant out?
Given the difficulty/expense of extradition/transport, I give a snowball's chance in hell, but it would be nice wouldn't it?

If every time one of these douchebags bragged about violating State and Federal law, their doors were kicked down and they were hauled away, we'd see some real hope and change...

Further proof that gun-grabbing is a result of a mental illness and associated with anti-social behavior/tendencies...

[cheers] i'd vote you into office so fast. F bloomberg.

I imagine that there's a statute of limitations on the perjury crime, but doesn't a bench warrant for failure to appear live forever?
I agree that extradition is unlikely, but the DB will be subject to arrest if he ever visits FL.
No Disneyworld for his kids.

I don't know, but it the clock would stop on indictment would it not?

Just wondering how it would sound if it was a license for free speech...

John Crewdson has admitted to committing willful perjury in order to obtain a Florida speech license, a second degree misdemeanor under Florida statutes.

The subject of Mr. Crewdson's article was to criticize H.R. 822, the proposed National Free Speech Reciprocity Act of 2011, sponsored by Reps. Cliff Stearns (R-FL) and Heath Shuler (D-NC). Unlike driver's licenses, each state now decides which speech licenses it recognizes within its borders, resulting in possible felony convictions in one state for doing the same thing which is perfectly lawful in another. The proposed legislation would mandate uniform recognition of Speech licenses, greatly expanding the rights of properly licensed subjects to speak in public. The bill does not create federally mandated minimum standards, nor does it require states to change their laws to free speech in places prohibited to their own licensees. It merely requires states to recognize out-of-state licenses issued by other states the same as their own resident licenses.

Anyway, if someone were to come up and get him, they would have to come unarmed while extraditing the criminal to FL, or face being arrested while transporting a prisoner and face jail time and legal costs.

So I don't think anyone would do it...

EDIT: Wait, he isn't in MA... Anyway still good for lolz

Just got a response back from the AG office, I think I should forward my concerns on. maybe some on else here would like to as well.
Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi received your email regarding your
concerns with John Crewdson. Attorney General Bondi asked that I respond.

I appreciate that you have considered the Attorney General's Office as a
source of assistance. However, the Florida Department of Agriculture and
Consumer Services (DACS), Division of Licensing, is the state agency
assigned responsibility for the issuance of concealed weapon or firearm
licenses in accordance with Section 790.06, Florida Statutes. I encourage
you to convey your concerns to that office at:

In addition, in Florida, the local police or sheriff's office and elected

level. Those authorities operate independently and are not a part of the
Attorney General's Office. If you wish to seek consideration of a
criminal investigation, please contact the appropriate law enforcement
agencies. The contact information for the state attorneys' offices is
