Jefferson's state has already begun the process of descending to liberalism (one gun a month -- in Virginia -- is unbelievable). Bloomberg doesn't get to vote there. Those citizens of the state who listen to him are screwing themselves.

But I agree with you, he should go back to NYC and stay there until its problems, caused by its citizenry, are solved.

Bloomberg is 100% opportunist. It's how he got rich. He was a life-long Dem and turned his back on them to run as a Rep to get elected - and promptly turned his back on them to go independent.
