Black Rifle Coffee Condemns Kyle Rittenhouse, May Dump Sponsorship Of Media Defending Him

imagine if he came out with a really bold statement like - "in the current climate of police stand downs and the unwillingness of the justice system to prosecute left wing violence, I wholeheartedly support otherwise law abiding Americans taking the law into their own hands".

then I might dump Maxwell House

Remember when all people cared about coffee was how hot and strong it was? Never even cared if a company took a position.

Now everyone’s expected to pick sides, even branding their products with position statements. Shocker when they aren’t as pro-___ as we thought. Politics poisons everything and in the end they’re just a business.

Screw it. I’m quitting coffee and just taking caffeine pills.

Or cold. Don’t forget iced coffee.

Anyone ever notice the gun community is the worst. We are the worst advocates for the 2A because all we do is eat each other up for the dumbest shit.

Some people call it principles.

I think the main problem is a LOT of people paid stupid money for mediocre coffee because they thought they were supporting someone who supports them.

They feel duped, and rightly so.

I mean seriously, he donated to ActBlue ?

IMO that's the nail in his coffin, he needs to change the logo and re-imagine his company's "brand". It will be hard, because in the end, the only thing that sold the coffee was the image.

Whoa, Dana Loesch has a 17-year old kid? No way!

I really don’t care about their coffee or videos or any of that stuff. Never bought it never watched it. I’m not a big online person who ‘follows’ anybody, just never had time for it and didn’t care what some Jackhole had to say on YT or whatever media it was on. Zero interest.

Following this thread I have to agree that this guy f***ed up bigtime and it’s gonna cost him. But he’s apparently been bringing it on himself over the years or so I’ve seen here, it all caught up with him with one or two poorly chosen statements that opened the flood gates when he should’ve just tended to business. Oh well.

It seems to there’s a pattern with these types of companies. They start off great with a cool image. Things progress and they grow, rapidly. Then comes the social media garbage and the tons of followers, then it turns to ego, who has the biggest arms or the hottest women, then eventually people get sick of them, all, and they end up shooting themselves in the foot because the ego has over ridden their brain to mouth function and they feel untouchable.

So many of these veteran companies that I really liked about 10yrs ago have long since jumped the shark into total retardation, how they’re not embarrassed by themselves is beyond me, it seems the quiet professional has been taken over by the look at me social media craze. I’m glad I’m a nobody who just drinks Dunks and has never been on 99% of social media.

Someone mentioned the Invader coffee also out of Texas, haven’t tried it but they jumped the shark too a few years ago. Same type of company. Steroids, beards and guns. USA hoorah BS. Eventually turned to selling cheap Chinese trucker style ball caps, total garbage and removed all reviews stating they were chinese crap to keep selling them to the same veterans they alleged to support. Then they hosted a local Texas swat team on their property, guess what it was for? A “tactical knife throwing course for police”. No shit. How many years of combined military experience are on this site alone? I’d guess hundreds if not thousands, has any of us ever actually thrown a knife at someone overseas?? lol And the police need this course why?? f***ing joke.

I only found out that info when scouring their stuff to find out why my review was removed for selling cheap chinese crap and yelling Merica while doing it. I wasn’t alone.

I recommend watching this. Just released and he covers a lot of his reasoning for his statements.

God dammit why did you have to do that. Here I am all DEF CON 4, flood the tubes!, Say hello to my little friend!! BAN hammer for life!!! coming...and then you have me listen to that.... Double secret probation as of now, pending further investigation. And, and he seams to have Dana in his corner? it’s just cats and dogs living together at this piont, we‘re F ed.

"In the manner of the child or adult who may be or may not be named Kyle Rittenhouse, we, the owners of Black Rifle Coffee, affirm and deny that we do not nor have we ever not supported or denounced the miscreant or the hero who may or may not be Mr. Rittenhouse. ...

Statement from Evan Hafer

I wanted to make sure that everybody knew,
we would not profit from this.

If there's one thing that I'm sure of,
it's that they're not profiting from this.

Lol I have a novel idea, how about if people would just buy coffee from places where they, you know, like the coffee, instead of trying so hard to virtue signal at the same time they're buying
coffee?

That’s considered the dark ages now, you know like 20yrs ago when things were still semi-normal.
I feel like we’re living in a reality tv show these days.

The Donald as POTUS seems to underscore that point...

Getting caught? Only extrem right wing conservatives can be 2A and be for constitutional rights? And be American. WTF? Really. Both sides. Evan has always called himself a gun toting 2a supporting hippie. He has never once said he’s right wing or conservative
yup! I can’t stand his support for Gabby and the porno hit man though.😂👍🏻

If I owned a company, I wouldn't publicly weigh in on Kyle's case either and I'd take a neutral stance. I'll continue drinking their coffee, it's quite good.
As an owner of a small startup, and also a manager for a large national company, I take a neutral stance on EVERYTHING unless my customer brings up that their political beliefs are the same as mine. It boggles my mind that business owners cant keep their mouths shut, or will put political signs out front. I will drive right by the place with the liberal sign 10 times out of 10. If you didnt have that sign, I might have pulled in and put some money in your pocket.

I certainly wouldn't stop supporting BRCC, but if the prosecutor has some kind of special damning information and it turns out Rittenhouse was a cold blooded killer then those guys aren't going to look that good. If they want to support the legal defense fund that's one thing but it could have bad future optics if that kid ends up on death row.

This Kenosha kid is like f***in Herpes!!!!! What’s next with this ass hat?..Good on him for blasting those idiots (wish he took more of em out), they deserved it and it was clearly self defense but this kid went looking for trouble and found it. BRCC’s press releases have been abismal and they better get thier collective heads out of thier asses and step away from the BroVet shit and realize the fight we are all in. Good for Tulsi serving in the Army, she’s also a f***in Globalist puke...good for Mr. Crenshaw being a badass Veteran, he’s also an enemy of the 2A. The cat is out of the bag Evan and Matt!!!! Your coffee sucks and good luck going public with BRCC when your entire customer base finds other caffeine options. I think a spelled abismal wrong?...I’m off to Dunks for some coffee.🇺🇸

I watched this yesterday. Once you get past the first half of it where he blames everyone but himself for the mess he’s in, he gets into his views on the Rittenhouse case and states his support. Not sure I buy his “I lost a bet” excuse for donating to Obama, but he seems to be a genuine guy that has made some PR mistakes and just doesn’t understand how the whole internet thing works.

His biggest problem is that he's an egomaniac who can't keep his mouth shut.

His other big problem is that he's trying to wear all hats in the company instead of letting professionals take care of things like marketing/PR. If you read some of his past interviews he's very proud about having his hands in every aspect of the business.
