This morning we get into the field, set up our decoys and sit in the cold. The adjacent property is kind of conservation land and it has a drive that can be seen from our blinds. Around 7:30 a car pulls up and two birders get out with spotting scopes and binoculars and spot our decoys. Next thing we know this couple is creeping up to our decoys very slowly and eventually come within 20 yards and just stand there watching the little snow buntings pick the field amongst our decoys. Finally my buddy gets up and walks out to the set to "adjust" our decoys and the bird watcher was visually stunned when he saw him get up. The guys made some comment that we could have shot him and my buddy was over the top nice to him. The bird watchers could not leave that field fast enough.

No birds, but it was worth it.
