There's actually an 11x11 foot tent, an aluminum military issue type cot, a sleeping mat and sleeping bag in that duffle.

No wonder we got along so well, Roger! We even pack our bikes alike - heavily! [lol] [roll]

My daughter sent this picture, it explains WHY she tows a trailer. I had to tell her that it wasn't the biggest load that bike ever carried (I'm the original owner).

Y'know, I feel much better about how I loaded down Canth for my camping trip back in '99 after seeing pix of your & heather's bikes.

Glad to see I'm not the only one to over pack! although I didn't always... Here's a shot of me and Canth setting out on our second long trip... all of 400 miles. [wink] Hey, it was long to me then...

Sleeping bag, duffle with a few changes of clothes, sword and mail shirt. I was on my way to the 15th annual Pennsic War in Slippery Rock, PA. No tent, right... I had lined up a few nights crash space with some friends.

Well, you've got to have a table and chair, don't you?

I brought a chair with me to Rhinebeck in 99, but no table. for the trip to Pennsic, I wasn't kidding when I said I was traveling light. I borrowed tent space in 3 different spots and contributed $$ for the communal pot...
