Per the suggestion of Nickle post your Motorcycle pics here.

    I'll go first.

    97' Harley Softail Custom

I would list all of the mods, but I would probably forget most of them. Put this bike on order in 96' to replace my drastically undersized 96' 883. At 6'1" and about 215lbs I am a bit big for an 883 and was told by my friends that if the Shriners rode motorcycles they would look like me!

    Here she is.

I can't even afford the guns I want right now, what makes you think I can buy the bike I want? Maybe if I was getting Tax credits from the .gov I could afford it. [wink]

    Here's the daughter's and son-in-law's:

Her's (If you get passed by a "chick" on a black BMW, at a high rate of speed, like 80 to 100, pulling a trailer and it has a green plate, that would be her):

    This is the current 'bike'.

We're hoping that I might be able to get something like this in the spring. (BIG IF)

It's basically a compromise to replacing the truck. If gas prices keep heading north like they did this year, I'd only have to do < 50% of my annual miles on this machine to save enough to pay for it in fuel costs alone.

How NOT to pack for a week's camping trip...

I left home like this early one Sunday morning. Flew across the Mass Pike, cut up the back roads to Troy, NY, and when I went across the river and got on the NY Thruway, realized I'd made a BAD mistake - the crosswinds were tossing me around like crazy. So I did the rest of the trip to the Finger Lakes on two lane blacktop.

I have a full writeup of that trip if anyone's interested.

Hey Chris, look into a used Buell Cyclone (M2). 50 to 60 mpg and can be had reasonably cheap, if you look.

Just put him on my wife's bike 500cc Single Cylinder Buell Blast.

I can just see him getting razzed by all the Harley Riders (Buell is a Harley product, considered to be a "girly bike").

Zero to 60 (feet) in what? 5 minutes?

How many miles per gallon (of milk)?

Somebody really shop Photoshop that one, and add Derek on it.

Finally got copies of my bike from my son-in-law. THese were coming back from Kenney's last year, 4th of July weekend. Taken in Pittsfield, MA, I think. Yes, I'm not afraid to carry a load on mine.
