Usually I pick up my 12 guage shells at the range, however, I would either like to buy in bulk or at a cheaper store. I do have a Cabelas nearby I haven't checked out thoroughly, I also pass the Kittery Trading Post in Maine quite frequently. However open to any shops. I only have a shotgun however when I'm at the range I rent a .22, 9MM or .40. Just curious of the experienced ammo buyers prospective. As far as I know online sales aren't worth it as well?

Don't wanna put the mileage on your own GLOCK or need to clean it afterwards. If you know your GLOCK works and the range has an identical one, why not just rent the range GLOCK right?

Um who cleans a Glock after shooting? In the history of Glocks, I've never heard of a firing issue due to a barrel that shot xxx.xxx rounds. Still shooting the heck out of a 1991 Glock 17.

KAG just updated his ammo ads.

He is right around the same price as TSUSA, so I would go there for instant gratification.
Respect for the Kag and the mill. I'll just say the customer service from TSUSA is outstanding. If I buy something in the morning, the box is often on my doorstep the next afternoon. Never longer than the day after. This is Amazon like shipping service from a regional ammo vendor. 👍

This post made me throw up in my mouth a little bit... [laugh]
While I readily admit that I am a little OCD about not putting dirty guns back in the safe, I acknowledge that most guns do not need to be cleaned often, especially Glocks, but they can fail just like any other mechanical device and there are plenty of cases of them doing so.

Their .22 is especially prone to jamming if not throughly cleaned

Targetsport USA
ammoseek.com - it lists shipping filters so you can see who offers free shipping
Gunbroker. You can find some steals but lots of pages to scroll through.

Depends on the ammo type
Try to get in on group buys at local clubs that shoot trap.

also what do you mean by bulk. Going way back

Al’s in derry NH was a great place to stock up
Its been a good while since I was involved in any bulk 12g purchases.
When I was actively shooting trap the orders we would pick up where right at the limit of DOT regulations, lol

When things slowed for trap shooting for me and lead prices basically killed reloading target loads for trap I just bought a case or 2 from any local shop that actually had that much.

If your out and about all over set a gps to tell you when your near a gun shop then start making pit stops

I loved it back in the day loading up the old garmin with the info in one of the stickies here on NES.
