Sanders is a self avowed socialist, IIRC he was enrolled in The Communist Party of the United States of America (When he ran for Vt senate?) he calls himself an "independent" but he's as independent as Stalin. The afore mentioned party was quietly absorbed by the dumb-0-crats shortly after 0b0z0 took office. That was when Commies WERE ASSIGNED to many upper echelon positions within the dem-0-rat party AND our government. Draw your own conclusions. If there's no difference between Dems and Republicans, why is he in the Dem primary?
You do need an army. Is there a revolution that was successful without the involvement of a foreign government or the full support of the armed forces?
Must be Nicaragua! + Evo Morales! So there's your question of the day.
Which foreign government is the power behind the increasingly brazen efforts of communists in this country over the last decade or so?
And it's not Russia.
Oh boy! Aren't we stuck in the last century!
NOBODY born after 1960 in America knows what is the real life in communism. They confuse it with Vietnam, Soviet Union, Cuba, maybe.......What Bernie wants is a hard core Albanian communism which remains a mystery in America. Such communism has a lot of appeal and it targets mostly young people who are naive and lazy. Donks have decided to destroy our country in the name of the globalism. Globalism is nothing else but an international communism as it was invented by Marx, Engels and Lenin. They have failed to implement it in their times but idiots like Bernie continue trying.
Bernie admired Castro and he has learned from him that you do not need an army to direct masses, you need bunch of crazies ready to destroy everything, this is why Bernie loves AOC, she is his extension to young generations.
Where in the World Was Bernie in 1954?..........Just kidding, CNN! Fake news!Kind of sounds like that "Hitler" type of communism too...Order the adults into compliance and brainwashed the youth.
and Bern definitely has the young people support.
That's normal.....Vermonters, along with looking for something to be relevant over, they are probably looking through "Dollar $ign" colored glasses.yep, but vermont embraced him in a giant bear hug now, didn't they? and that scares me.
You are onto something! Solzhenitsyn moved to Cavendish, Vermont, became weird and supported Putin for the rest of his long life. That's normal.....Vermonters, along with looking for something to be relevant over, they are probably looking through "Dollar $ign" colored glasses.
I summer vacationed in Vermomt for the better part of 45 years ( from the womb to age 45) and never really met a Vermonter that ever impressed me with their logic or educational level/skills. For the most part they seemed to be about one hour more advanced in current events than a backwoods Canadian.
+ this:Bernie publicly spitting on JFK - that's another Trump campaign ad that just wrote itself.
Lives of Soviet dissidents fascinate me! Russia and the Soviet Union only knew a dictatorship, no freedom, no American experience. Many dissidents struggled with the definition of the future, they knew very well what was wrong, but future without "a strong person" scared them. Solzhenitsyn is a perfect example. He has described, like nobody else, the horror of Soviet gulags and the evil KGB (NKVD and it's many flavors) can do. Yet, he has supported the Devil himself, Putin! I do not think we will ever understand it. There was a saying that Russian village women felt not loved if their husbands did not beat them enough back then. On the other hand, dissidents from countries which had at least a brief experience with democracy would never support former communists as their leaders. Not in Russia! Solzhenitsyn did not come to the United States to live the American Dream. He came here to preach about Russia. He did not care about learning and that was his biggest mistake. If he would spend some years learning about America he would become a giant and help Russia. He became a weird Rasputin instead. My understanding of Solzhenitsyn is that he was always very pro-Russia - but anti-communist. Solzhenitsyn is one of those guys who got an awful lot of press back in the 70s and 80s after the Soviets kicked him out and he came to the US. Once the commie left in the US start inching their way closer and closer to being American Bolsheviks - he started falling out of favor and getting a lot less press. Plus Solzhenitsyn has written a few things about the particulars of who was involved in the commie revolution in Russia that really wouldn't over well with the current denizens of the ruling structure of this country.
Thank you! We should also never underestimate the ability of seasoned commies like Putin to do whatever they do the best:Well said 10th. For many, freedom IS scary because it represents uncertainty and insecurity. It is particularly so for those who have never experienced much freedom and who have never developed the capacity to think beyond their immediate animal needs.
