I don’t think I ever installed it so I can’t speak to its function. I think nowadays Beretta has multiple offerings that include a rail which make the market for these far less profitable. If interested I’d ask for shipping and beverage $

Don’t disrespect Italy with a bubba’ed up pizza gun. The 92FS is beautiful the way god made it.

Luckily, the rail problem has been solved by beretta with models 92A1, M9A1, M9A3, 92X.

And let's not forget the original Beretta 92 rail pistol .... the Vertec

Sure, but the vertec is no longer in production to help treat the OP’s rail boner. The 92X uses essentially a railed vertec lower.

I looked them up, lots of websites have it discontinued.

A much better option, in my opinion is from EZ Rail - Beretta 92/96 FS Models and I use it for mounting a MantisX dry fire training system. Both work quite well. The EZ Rail takes seconds to mount or dismount, is rock solid no matter what I send down the pipe, and does NOT scratch or mar the finish.

Why? Because sometimes you feel like a rail, and sometimes you don't. [dance]

I've since changed the slide to a Vertec slide because I wanted the ability to change out the front sights. But otherwise, the picture is accurate.

Just my opinion. Oh, yep, I'm a Beretta Fan Boy, so take that into account. [thumbsup]
