Benelli Sport

I was just looking at a Used Benelli Sport 12 Ga at the Kittery Trading Post.

In pretty good condition they were asking $950.


Now I would have to Trade them a Buick or something to afford one of these but it looked nice and was light and handled well.

Most of the shotguns on the rack have stocks that are way too long. Once you put on a Cold weather Duck hunting jacket they wont have a chance of sholdering unless you cut the stock down.

I tried sholdering this Sport and it even poped right up on target with my heavy leather jacket on. Nice...


Do any of you guys own one? what do you think?

I own the Sport ll, which is the successor to the Sport you saw at Kittery. I have one in 12 ga. and one in 20 ga., and like them very much. They have very few moving parts and are a breeze to take down and clean. BTW, I bought both of these at Kittery.
