Lots of fail to distribute here.

County Attorney Melissa Gulbrandsen, who has been investigating the Oct. 28 incident, said Belmont police officer Patrick Riley did not need to fire the shots.

“The call is close, but given the state law, and all of the circumstances of this case, it is difficult to conclude that the discharge of the firearm was reasonable,” Gulbrandsen said in a memo on Monday. “Because the officer’s actions were not clearly reasonable, it is difficult to conclude that the shooting was justified.” -

Once again, different standards for different people. Only cops can unjustly shoot at people and avoid charges.

No charges will be filed against Riley, Gulbrandsen said.

This times 1000. We have a member of this board who was prosecuted while a cop was not for doing the same thing (firing a gun in self defense). In NH as well.

Cops literally live within a different legal system from you and me.
