Is this a result of the Patriot Act? Or have the feds/leos been able to do this all along? So, if they want to they can come in my house while I am away and rifle through my porn collection? [wink]

Or does this only apply to Muslims who are labelled as a potential terrorist?

Investigators secretly searched the Sudbury home of alleged terror supporter Tarek Mehanna in August 2006, while Mehanna and his family were on vacation in Egypt, a state trooper testified today in Mehanna’s federal trial.

"alleged terror supporter"

That's all that's needed these days for them to turn your life, and the lives of everyone you know all the way around.

Is it 420 yet?

The Patriot Act and the attack act that led to it are subcomponents of the no. 1 genocide conspiracy in history of the planet, i.e. the conspiracy to get tens of thousands of youngsters hooked on nicotine every day worldwide to replace deceased cigarette addicts.

1. The World Trade Towers were the two largest buildings on the planet that looked like cigarettes.

2. They were spaced about the way two cigarettes are positioned sticking out of a just-opened "pack" in billions of advertisement pictures over the past century.

3. The similarity to cigarettes was kept semi-unconscious three main ways:

a. The buildings were square instead of cylindrical;
b. The smoke was pouring out of the middle instead of the end;
c. Two were burning at once instead of just one as customary with obedient addicts.

4. The choice of New York as site has something to do with the most famous of all cigarette advertising billboards being the one in Times Square where rings of smoke were seen exiting from the mouth of a well-dressed "gentleman".

5. Seen from all over town and much of New Jersey, this tobacculary image was the most photographed disaster in the history of the planet and thus the "industry" got a maximum of free advertising distribution.

6. 9 + 11 = 20, or number of "Class A Cigarettes" in a pack.

7. Twenty (20) men were signed up to perpetrate the deed.

8. Nineteen (semi-rhythmicates with "Nicotine") showed up.

9. As noted above, this event led to increasing inspections which made it more prohibitive to try to take any good herb, or a one-hitter utensil, with one on a plane or anywhere.

Chizelchest that is hands down the best I have ever heard to counter the guy I work with that vomits conspiracy theory every time he can. Awesomesauce!

If your a muzzie and posting your love of jihad. You shouldn't be treated any different than the German American Bund party in ww2, or the Lincoln Brigade.
Or Japanese Americans during WWII I suppose??????

The Patriot Act isn't very patriotic.

There is a small group of federal judges that review and approve requests for warrantless searches. They wouldn't approve one without a pretty good reason. They are very committed individuals ( I happen to know one of them).

However, I do not support the Patriot Act and never have.

If you're speaking of the FISA judges, they were to a large extent sidelined by the Patriot Act. I know that at least one FISA judge resigned in protest.

How does one approve a warrantless search? If they approve it why not just give them a warrant?

I agree, that was pretty damn good.

Sounds about right.

This ain't WWII.........last I checked. And during that phase of the US, are we going to be that silly to believe that all Japanese that were living here were "on our side"....because apparently, they had too much honor to do the whole "infiltration, spy, covert operation game?" Pearl Harbor comes to mind real quick... This is common for every warring country. When the crazy towelheads find our guys, or Americans, do you think they say "OI! Just anovver tourist....let 'em go, mate!" No, they lock every one of them down and determine if they're spies. Like the hikers that were just let go a couple months (weeks?) ago. Convicted as being spies, held in prison for a few years, and finally, when there's no proof, let free (sounds like Martha holding us for a self-defense charge, but I digress[wink])

And for the smoking record, I quit smoking back in April (after 19 years), gained 25lbs, and still coach my girls soccer team (3th year with some of them).........with a little less breath than them [smile]
