Barricade vs Tri-Flo

I have been using Barricade on my Smiths and my WWII guns to protect them, especially the ones that don't get shot or shot very seldom.
My gunsmith recommended Tri-Flo. He said it does a better job than Barricade which is a waxy protectant.

What can people tell me about these and which would be better for my guns over time.
 
There are quite a few people who have done corrosion testing of various lubes & corrosion preventatives on different firearms sites. Like this one, or this one, for instance. They don't cover the two products you mention, but I'm sure someone out there has. Try searching for "firearms corrosion test". If you have the time, you can run your own test.
