I could have sworn that CT required a barrel length of 16". But for the life of me, I can't find that law anywhere, despite some time of digging and going through all the files & websites I've got saved.

Anyone know offhand..... required min barrel length?

(This, for an AR)

The only actual CT state law that I know concerning barrel length is Ch. 529 Sec. 29-27, which states that any firearm with a barrel less than 12 inches is classified as a pistol or revolver.

I believe that in CT you can not have pistol with a longer barrel. I forget the length, but it has to do with a rifle barrel on a pistol. Or turning a rifle into a pistol. I know there are certain pistols that fall in this category as a Not CT legal.

On second thought maybe it has to do with overall gun length...
