Barrel finish removal

Ok, I need some help here. I am trying to polish my FNX barrel (and remove the black finish they put on it). I have done this countless times with Glocks, Rugers, and S&Ws. However, nothing seems to be working with the FNX finish. I am not sure what they use, but it is very durable. Hell, even my Dremel can not dent it. I hae tried everythig I know of, including vineger and blueing removal (I dont think its blued). Any advice would be great.

bead blasting most likely will take care of it

my question is if you have such a nice durable finish why would you want to take it off?

dench once sprayed off all the finish on an AR receiver with brake cleaner.
