Uh oh. Looks like Dunkins, Starbies and other coffee shops are not considered essential. Those that need their morning fix are screwed!
  • Workers supporting groceries, pharmacies and other retail, including farmers markets and farm stands, that sells food and beverage products, including liquor stores
  • Restaurant carry-out and quick serve food operations - Carry-out and delivery food employees"
I think Dunki's, StarB's, etc. are covered.

Also in the last paragraph of the top section:
Restaurants, bars, and other establishments that sell food and beverage products to the public are encouraged to continue to offer food for take-out and by delivery if they follow the social distancing protocols set forth in Department of Public Health guidance continue operations. On-premises consumption of food or drink is prohibited.

Wow, read that list - essential jobs include anyone in IT, food services, transportation. I'm struggling to think of any jobs NOT on that essential list.

Prostitutes and hair stylists? Standup comedians? I'm out of ideas.
I am part of all three - Im "super" essential I guess..
Which all three? I'm imagining that you're either a trucker hauling Doritos or you're operating one of the greatest barbershops on the planet.

I can't see how this is any different than yesterday. The exemption list is so long and broad that it looks like it is just more of the same. They should have a list of everything that needs to close... It would be smaller.
That list would make their agenda a bit too obvious:

- strip clubs
- tattoo parlors
- gun shops

Does't change anything for us, we both work in places considered "essential." I already have enough ammo, guns, and random tactical gear to arm a small country, and enough food for at least a month of normal eating and several months of rationing, and I have 400+ acres of good hunting land right out my back door and plenty of fresh water sources., lots of local farms too.

I don’t like the guy as much as anyone else here, but let’s try to control the panic level FFS. He literally stated this am that he will not order a lockdown on citizens. He said to go out to parks, go for a walk, go to your food stores etc, just be smart about it. Same things we’ve all been saying.

Liquer stores are not closing. We are not being ordered to stay indoors under threat of armed NG’s men. Take a breath folks. This really changes nothing in those regards. I swear some people just love the f***ing chaos, fear and thoughts of the apocalypse so all the money you’ve spent on queer gear doesn’t seem wasted.

If firearm retailers are not essential, can he shut down MIRCs for processing? I wouldn’t be shocked if it’s coming.
I would be- because there are a bunch of things with guns and MIRCS that don't involve retail operations. People need to (well, at least by letter of the law) use it if they do something
as simple as building a gun or importing it from out of state etc.

Then again that wouldn't stop the state from acting retarded. I wonder what kind of legal fiasco that would make "so and so didnt report the transfer " well, the thing the state told us to use to report the transfer was broken... for over a month".

Not that it would ever come to that point, because the reality is MIRCS is just a dog and pony show.

WTF is an "organ pharmacy" and how does it differ from a regular pharmacy? I know there are pharmacies that specialize in transplant drugs (there actually are specialist pharmacists for that), but I have never heard of an "Organ pharmacy".

Someone explain the frog boiling analogy to cams, please!

Jokes aside yes you're right, it's not worth panicking over. Gun stores are out of stock of everything but Tauruses anyway.
