My mom just sent me this. This is where I grew up, but I don't know any of the folks involved in the story.

Rosario Curcio, 70, was charged with second-degree murder, according to the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies responded to the club on Salt Point Turnpike at 12:45 p.m., and found that 56-year-old Lana Florio, of Poughkeepsie, had been critically injured with an apparent gunshot wound to the head.

this sounds a little deeper than promoting good sportsmanship. imo, something is going on there besides an unfortunate accident.
