Anyone else seen this? I never watch anything Obama does, but others have reported his fake crocodile tears. He's probably beaming on the inside that his socialist movement has the board set to bring in new gun control laws.

I honestly can't imagine that they will be successful. There will be a ton of truth twisting in the coming weeks. I hope he doesn't forget about other important issues like the debt ceiling in the meantime or the fact that the dems have yet to introduce a fiscal yearly budget.

Guess we'll just wait and see... and make panic gun related purchases. [rolleyes]

Really? This is where we are in this country? Debating whether or not the president cried or not? wow....

I could definitely imagine the reaction to the shooting by a lot of politicians...big grins, high fives behind closed doors. Everyone else is just pawns playing their part in their stupid game to put a few more dollars in their offshore bank accounts.

It's not surprising, didn't think much of it... what was more disturbing are the rubes here that bought it in the big thread [rofl]

If he was acting, that wouldn't behoove the Dems, or Rinos for that matter. I'm only at the point of showing how much of a fraud the commie is at every level -the MSM sure won't.

But, we're all preaching to the choir here!

They caught Clinton fake-crying at a funeral for his Sec of Commerce (Ron Brown) - not surprising, politicians lie.

0bama ".....And we're going to have to come together and take meaningful action to prevent more tragedies like this, regardless of the politics."

Prevent more tragedies; bull, the more the better to cut into the rights of the people, more big brother watching, maybe the PD comes to chat once a year like they do in Japan.

Regardless of politics; a politician, the only politics he will ignore is that of the other side.

i'm not a paranoid person but does it seem like all these event in 2010-2012 stacked up in such a way to destruct public opinion from certain issues while driving it towards some specific calculated agenda? it's almost like there is some shadowy force(organization/group/team) at work carefully masterminding situations regardless of the cost to raise public outrage.

tears gravitate downwards/centrally as you look down, he wiped the corner of his eye. no tears, no glassy looks, fake.

I can be pretty paranoid myself, but I think that'd be a challenge to pull off. ( It'd make a great novel though). Just think its a combo of the breakdown of morals we've experienced over the last couple of generations, the 24/7 news cycle, and the liberal media steering the public mindset. Too many people allow their opinions to be spoon fed to them by the tv rather than developing them on their own. Basically it happens more often, is reported more widely to people who have easier access to the info, and yellow journalism is back in a big way.

In regards to yesterdays events, it did seem shady them specifically reporting .223 cases in the school, then they find a rifle in the trunk. If he planned on shooting up the school, and had the rifle with him, why leave it in the trunk? If it stayed in the trunk, where did the cases come from? IIRC, no shots were fired by LO and he took his own life.

Pretty sure I remember seeing a guy with ATF on his vest at the scene also. Do they usually respond to these type of incidents so quickly?

Yes, the "Bushmaster military assault rifle" was found "in a nearby car". Not even sure who's car just yet... but only the two 9mm handguns "capable of using 30 round clips" were near the shooter in the school.

It DID make a great novel. A series of three, actually, courtesy of Mr. Matthew Bracken. Read them, they are amazing.

You guys are despicable. The man has two young children--why could he not feel the same anguish any other parent was feeling yesterday? Sad and shameful, the lot of you.

Because he is a bigger threat to our safety than all the civilian mass murders of the past century combined.

I think there's some validity to him fake crying. I mentioned it to my wife even before I read this thread. As an aside, the president shouldn't be crying in front of the world anyways. Terrorists have been planning these types of attacks (see Chechnya) for some time. Seeing our Commander in Chief cry only emboldens them.

Fortunately for him, naivete like yours is more common than uncommon. That's why he's in office.

I'm sure the president feels the same way I do. This was a sad event for America. There will be a full blown blitz "now is the time" to erase the 2nd Amendment from the constitution with executive power.

Just because he has kids doesn't mean my rights get trampled on.

You got to be kidding me. ... . If u can't seperate your political views for 3 seconds during this time of tragedy your the one with problems. Give it a break already!!!

This is not the first nor will be the last time that the .gov/president/politicians have used its citizens or it military as pawns that wind up dead to further their agenda. I am not saying this was, or the mall shooting or Aurora was. However, given the current economic stalemate (remember the fiscal cliff) and 16 trillion (advertised) that were in the hole, along with continuing dismal economic news and potential for complete financial collapse, one has to wonder what the hell is going on. It is very convenient that the murderers have committed suicide, except Aurora, but carrot-top is so deep in the earth and will only be brought up for various court appearances, how would we as a populace ever find out what the truth really is, if it was to be other than crazies gone wild. It would be so convenient for the president, under an executive order, to give all owners of semi-auto weapons 10 days to turn them in or "else". I'm sure that would see 1/3 of all weaps turned in and the others have boating accidents, but my tinfoil may be on a tad to tight. However, if he were to order this, then many tears would flow.

Agreed. All the friggen bowing he does pisses me off too. Makes him look weak. I swear he does it just to tarnish the office he unfortunately holds.

If you, for one second, don't think the president would use a national tragedy to put forth his political agenda, then you cannot see the forest for the trees! Don't be fooled. I have two kids and can't even fathom the horror of that day. Just look at the big picture for a sec.

Legit tears or not, does anyone honestly believe he won't try to use this to push the anti agenda?
