AZ - Homeowner Shoots Would-Be Intruder

A home intruder is in the hospital tonight after being shot by the owner of the Tempe house he was reportedly attempting to break into.

It happened on East Hayden Lane near McClintock.

David Anderson, 29, tried to forcibly enter the home of 28-year-old Justin Michael McNeish, said Sgt. Steve Carbajal of the Tempe Police Department.

McNeish fired a shot that struck Anderson as he was entering the home, Carbajal said.....
