Auxiliary car battery

Eh, let it reset. I'm not convinced that it doesn't need a good reboot every now and then.

Looking under the hood, if I set up a cold air intake on the left side of the underhood Forester space, that could free up room for a smaller, secondary battery. Maybe something for later on.
 
A buddy of mine who lived in Alaska carried a second battery mounted in a bracket over the rear axle. He brought it in when it was cold (like 250 days/year). Purely backup and traction, for the price of a battery.

Adding weight to the rear of a Subaru makes an unbelievable difference in snow traction. Most of them are a bit nose heavy and will spin the rears first.
