Aurora

My buddy just said 2m and 222, too. I don't have those.

I never built an antenna so fast. I had a couple lengths of copper pipe I cut for 6m last night. I ripped apart a defunct dual band antenna that didn't work, clamped the wires to the pipe on a scrap piece of wood, clamped that to a section of milsurp mast, and put that beast on the air. It's got an SWR about 1.2:1 in the CW/SSB portion. I lucked out there.

Before that I was trying to tune my DX Commander for 6m and it would, but the dipole is way louder and directional.

So far so good. Not bad for 6m off the Aurora. I'm roughly on the MA/NY border, middle of the state.

I think those two squares are where I only had the four digit grid square. The others were 6 digits filled in by my logger.
