ATF state by state trace data online.

Wow, a whopping 17 guns were traced to VT, and 99 to NH. With that enormous flood of guns coming into the borders here, it certainly makes sense to me to restrict the rights of all 2 million residents of those bordering states, in order to stop all the crime in Boston.

Yeah. That's the ticket.

If they outlawed all gun sale and possession in NH and VT, it would , at the very most, drop the percentage of guns recovered in MA by about 5%.

You gotta really hand it to the politicians here.

My favorite category was:

"Firearm Under Investigation".

I wonder what these 120 firearms did to cause them to be investigated???

[thinking]

Breaks it down by type of firearms, time to crime, what state(s) the firearms originated from, etc.

Let's look at these numbers a little closer:

6.0% of firearms recovered in Massachusetts originated in New Hampshire.

6.3% of firearms recovered in New Hampshire originated in Massachusetts.

Maybe Mumbles Menino should spend more time working to stop the flow of illegal guns from the Commonwealth into my state instead of complaining about NH's "lax gun laws" causing guns to flow south into Mass.

I think we need a security fence ............... [shocked]
