ATF must like me- Form 1 only took 3.5 months to get approved

Got a surprise email yesterday morning that my SLR106UR AK in 5.56 was approved. Submitted 10/12. I was happy. I chopped the barrel last night. Im finishing it up this weekend. Pics to come......

I have 2 more Form 1s pending. Gotta get in before the 41p hits mid-year.

Those are dead sexy. Out of curiosity, why do you "gotta get in before the 41p hits mid year?" Is it just to avoid the hassle of photos and prints?

DIY. parts kit with a short barrel and a fresh receiver/80% receiver.

2 form 1's submitted on 12/28/16 and approved on 3/7/16 exactly 70 days. AR SBR basic just a A3 with a 10.5 inch barrel. And a HK MP5K .
