They, the shop, say they are the largest gun store in the world. It is also a very popular campaign stop for Republican candidates in Georgia. Why tho
an IRS will come next. it all gets batshit crazy, it seems. like the intimidation of taibbi. To paraphrase Carly Simon
In Tim A Day Shun!!!!!! In Tim a Day-yay-Shun!!!!!
The unprecedented, i think, comes from 16 out of staters when we have 20 atf agents in atlanta alone.16 agents? Unprecedented? I think the mill would like a word.
The amount spent to transport the agents there from anti gun blue states is of secondary concern to the fact that they brought them there at all.Wait, how much did the federal government spend in airfare alone for that inspection? Do they not have agents in GA?
Even the mill got a bunch of out of area ATF Agents. The Rapid Response Team or something like that since they said the Boston office couldn’t handle it.The unprecedented, i think, comes from 16 out of staters when we have 20 atf agents in atlanta alone.
...which was ALSO intended as intimidation.Even the mill got a bunch of out of area ATF Agents. The Rapid Response Team or something like that since they said the Boston office couldn’t handle it.
Yes, as another person posted, not really unprecedented. We just don’t have any US congress office holders who would publicize it....which was ALSO intended as intimidation.
...as does the rest of the Tripthong Soup. The ATF needs to go buhbye
Putting a few of them processing Form 4’s would be helpful. The ATF has agents in Georgia but they flew in 16 from all over the place? Your tax dollars at work.
When they launched the Wuhan bug as a means of implementing fraud-by-mail, they knew it was a brass-ring-grab.The Democrats are doubling/tripling down on the weaponization of the government.
They needed the RIGHT 16 agents, not just whoever was closest. The ATF has agents in Georgia but they flew in 16 from all over the place? Your tax dollars at work.
The ATF has no right to exist. There is nothing that could justify any actions they take.I've heard that there can be concern over the local agents getting maybe too cozy/familiar with the ffl's where they might have more of a tendency to overlook minor infractions or whatever. In a high profile, possibly politically motivated inspection, I'd imagine bringing in non locals would help to minimize any questioning and scrutiny of their own process.
With this recent 'zero tolerance' crap from the current 'administration', I'd assume they're under a bit of added pressure...
I wonder if the Hun would have found this line of work so attractive if that was the case…I have said this before on other threads, here it is again. Every ATF agent needs to be stripped of their law enforcement status, made GS-7 unarmed compliance officers. No lateral to any other agency. They can retire or resign if they don't like their new job assignment.
Nor Shaheen, Hassan, Pappas or Kuster (who actually sees Kuster, anywhere, anyway, except for campaign events?).Say what you want about MTG , you sure as shit weren't going to see Romney or Collins or Merkcowski getting in those jackboots faces.
