Hi guys and gals.

I'm putting together my first .308 AR-10. The lower is POF and I'm waiting on the barrel to ship and be worked over for the upper. In the meantime, I thought I'd rig as much of the lower as possible and stash it away.

I support local business when I can, so I went with a Stag Arms lower kit for an AR-15. I knew only 90% would likely work and I hit that 10% right off the bat. Where's Murphy?

The whole assembly for the bolt catch seems to be improper. Catch itself may not be long enough, spring is definitely not long enough, and the AR10 platform has it secured with a screw instead of a pin. That's a new one on me.

Suggestions where I can buy the correct parts locally in CT for a fair price?

I'll be getting muddy for a good cause in the morning tomorrow, but after that I'm grabbing more gear.
