Assembled glock 19 advantage arms kit incorrectly. Slide stuck on.

Hi All,

Was at the range shooting my glock w/ advantage arms kit and had to disassemble in order to clear the barrel. when I reassembled it I failed to attach the barrel connector properly. As a result the slide will not close and it cannot be disassembled. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions to break this down when I cant close it?

Mission accomplished. FYI to anybody that encounters the scenario if you push the barrel in against say a table it will allow you to release the slide.

The barrel has to stay in place every time you take the slide off the frame. Easiest way is as you described it, barrel secured against a solid object when you bring the slide back 1/8" to move the slide lock.

The fool proof way to release a slide, no matter what is wrong is to lock the slide back. Then remove the rear plate and the striker assembly.

Then the slide just slides off the front.
