IF this translates politically then there is serious hope of turning things around and salvaging The Constitution and this Republic. Not that the world revolves around guns however, people who are beginning to realize that this is a RIGHT may be opening their eyes to what's happening to our other RIGHTS (free speech zones, etc) and will be taking up a more active role in our system.

As much as I hate to disagree I have a feeling this poll was from a heavy gun centric crowd. People won't wake up until it effects them personally which means like mass will spiral down hill until people realize that an armed law abiding populace is more beneficial for a multitude of reasons. But it unfortunately will cost some naive folks their lives. Love the positive pub but I doubt it's going to sway some of the crazies on the other side

The fact that applications for licenses are at an all time high I think supports the findings. When people see the crap that goes on every day in this country with murders and nuts, and gangs, etc., while watching the govt trying to restrict their 2A rights at every turn... They wise up. Not the moon bats.. But the people in the middle that could go either way.
