Anyone else taking the oldies out tomorrow?

I’ll probably put a hundred or so out of my Imperial proofed 1915 M14 Mauser. That is if I can get the Mauser away from the mouser.

I'm planning on taking my Winchester M1917, M1886/93 'Lebel' and 1914 Izhevsk M91 out...3 milsurps I haven't shot in quite a while. I might take my Gew88 if I feel like lugging a 4th rifle to the range tomorrow.

In addition to my Pattern 14, I had my No5 Mk1 out last week. Holy crap, I'd forgotten how much fun that thing is to shoot. Both of them rang the 200-yard gong with boring regularity.

That .303 is such a great round.

I had to work.

ironic that most of the veterans I know were in the same boat :D

regardless...will take out my m1917, 1903, and 1919a4 as soon as I get the A4 built and ready to shoot!

...in Indy! Two more weeks to moving and counting.

happy armistice day, gentlemen.

Sweeney...got a range report at all?

Went mid afternoon and mostly just clanged steel plates in pretty low and flat light conditions. Did a fair amount of 'area' shooting at the 200 and 300 yard plates. They hadn't been painted in a long time and blended really well with the back ground. My friend was spotting with the binoculars and walking shots onto the plates. Lots of fun.

We also tested the re-barrel and head spacing I did on his 5.56 Galil ...he lived...

Must bring spray paint next time.

Pretty fall colors.

Didn't get a chance to shoot the M1917 yesterday despite my original intention. Planning to take it out this week though, maybe Friday.
