Armed MAGA protesters and Boogaloo boys march at state capitols in Ohio, Utah, Texas, Oregon, NH, and Michigan ahead of the inauguration

From the article:
"In New York City, Starbucks announced it was shutting its Manhattan locations on Sunday due to protests
Meanwhile, Starbucks has shut down all of its New York City locations on Sunday - reportedly for fear of protests - while security was beefed up around State Capitols nationwide."

What is this all about? Manhattan is not the state capital, so they are afraid of protests in the city? Or protests specifically directed at them? And why just Manhattan, why not shut down the stores in the state capitals?

Trying to figure out their angle on this.
Inconvenience the snowflakes and point the finger at conservatives.

  1. Odds that half of the barristas were called away when their National Guard unit was deployed to DC.
  2. Odds that all of the customers will be away, lining the streets to cheer.
  3. Odds that all the barristas needed to get the day off to RiotLootBurn and blame it on MAGA Nation.
In order of probability from least- to most-likely.

LOL after reading #1 and #2 I was beginning to wonder what exactly you were drinking.

Well, then I read #3 and all was right again with NES.
And then the glue failed and the knob detached from the cork
in the brand new bottle of Don Julio reposado.

Luckily there were pliers in the kitchen drawer,
but we still probably ought to move this to First World Horror Stories...
