Considering the Left's push to ban guns, tear down the wall, bring Socialism to America, attacking conservatives with fake hoax crimes, attacks on campus, assaults on Republican politicians, assassination attempts on the ball field, tearing down our historical monuments and attempts to erase our history, remove freedom of speech, bring terrorists into the country unchecked, and trying to overthrow the President of the United States out of revenge politics....what do you think? What is the last straw?

Nope. Mainstreamers care very little about any of that stuff, anything unless something happens that makes life really uncomfortable. Guess what- ball sports still on TV, gas is like under 3 bucks a gallon, booze and food is still available, the economy is decent, and outside of a veritable handful of retard conferences depicted in MSM news sources, most people are fat and happy. Good luck expecting a civil war under those conditions.

I know what some are thinking "Well what if violence breaks out" If it does ever happen like that (say antifa etc) it's probably going to be at a retard conference. And you know what the general publics attitude is going to be? "gov, pls kill/arrest them all so it will not interrupt my viewing of american idol" etc.

ETA: Now someone will say "Well you dont need a majority to be pissed off" and while that is true, right now you'd be hard pressed to find more than a low single digit % point total.... combined, of any faction, willing to go FR.

Mike, I'm going to disagree......based on the observation that the majority of the population is already retarded.....combine that with the weeks long riots post election with snowflakes smashing store fronts, antifa more or less having free run of portland and other places........I think we're a fergason like event (not particlarly a race related event.....just a conflict) away from LA Riots of a couple decades ago all around the country......

That would still be an isolated incident that nobody will care much about, hardly a civil war.

Retard conferences in urban shitholes don't really make for "civil war" . That stuff is just an annoyance to everyone else. We're a long, long ways away from even something like the yellow jackets in France.

Its the useful idiots principal.......we know/it was shown that there was literally a cabal of leftists being paid to go from city to city to city and agitate/protest/incite violence in the lead up to the 2016 election.......they have electronic evidence of coordination with same individuals

You think these people have been sitting quietly doing nothing?

I dont.....Soros, Tides and other groups have been organizing in various ways.......look no further than "Democratic Socialists" who hold meetings in person and via teleconference......dont mean to single THOSE retards out....only that they are one of many groups that are brainwashing/agitating useful idiots

Look at the antifa douche that got himself put down in oregon school.....he was "training" other useful idiots to build IED's etc.....

Look at how dems at all levels are going full retard legislatively.......

Hell.....we've now seen that McCabe/Comey and others actively enguaged in a coup to overthrow a duly elected president......

I hope I'm wrong but I see too many indicators that we're one emergency (that they dont want to let go to waste) away from very noteworthy coordinated and distributed unrest.......that they're going to present as "generic uprising against trump"........

There is a big difference from a few pockets or cells of fanatics here and there to a nationwide mobilized and organized network of them that it would take to make a real splash. Don't let Facebook get you worried. And, we gunowners aren't all that well organized either.... Go time is a ways away

Just make sure it starts on a Tuesday so people can still watch Monday night football. And it must end no later that Thursday so that the weekend doesn’t get ruined.

Truth is, 90% of the people just doesn’t care.

This is the point behind my comments about the left orchestrating/agitating some event.....once it starts I believe human nature will take over and it will run its course because there are not enough police/military to do anything about it.....it wont be a civil war in the sense of organized sides but more like the baltimore/dc/philly riots of the 60's on a more distributed scale.......then there will be the folks that use it as an excuse to get back at folks, rob business etc etc

Modern politics is going to be defined by "slacktivism." NES is a form of this (assuming someone just posts and doesn't answer to calls for action). A computer or a phone is a great way to get hundreds to thousands of people to listen to you, but doesn't require leaving the couch or the toilet.

Sure, some people go out and protest. But the Civil War wasn't about protesters. It was about states' rights (specifically, the states' rights to "regulate" slavery and the interplay of the states with the Fed and each other).

DECLARATION OF CAUSES: February 2, 1861 A declaration of the causes which impel the State of Texas to secede from the Federal Union. | TSLAC

People aren't willing to get out and shoot until you threaten their ways of life or their ability to self-govern. The right of self-governance is hardly at issue right now. The Don is not ordering the Massachusetts General Court to dissolve or ordering Virginia to call up it's National Guard to go quash liberals in Mass.

I'm not sure civil war is the right term to use. That suggests 2 powerful groups fighting for control of one government. We have the government as one group... who would the other group be?

These antifa retards are actually on the side of big government. So, it won't be antifa retards fighting government to overthrow it. Anything they do is orchestrated for the benefit of those elite in government.

Anyone doing any fighting to provide an actual real challenge would have to be closer to our side. And, we get shut down the moment we try to even look like we're doing something. Can't organize a militia or anything, since everyone knows its full of informants. Heck, we can barely post on social media now without getting banned. Imagine actually organizing a real uprising with hundreds of thousands of people.

Not sure what "line in the sand" they'd have to cross to incite an actual next civil war. Maybe outlaw all semi-automatic guns. That'd result in more than a few political snipings, and would be carried out on more of a national scale vs the pockets of resistance that would be seen resulting from localized abuses.

Crossing the line and actually shooting someone would have to start at home. Forceful entry into my house by the bad guys would do it for me. I love my girls more than anything ! Judged by 12 rather than Carried by 6 !

It is very hard to imagine large-scale, door-to-door confiscation... and the Hell it would cause.

YOU will bring it on your own. Why? Because you want your job, you want to get your kids in a good school, you do not want to be in jail......

It was done like that many, many times before. It took commies 2 years to "collect" all guns from WW2. They were not knocking!

Not even one bit. I've been around here since 2008 and everyone has come and gone and said "it's coming!" hell, myself probably included in that. Ain't nothing happening, not now, and not ten years from now. As long as the beer is cold, the boob tube is on, and the foosball plays on sundays, aint no one doin nothing.
