Are Saiga Shotguns Legal in Mass?

I was at an out-of state-shop recently and saw a really cool shotgun. It was a Saiga 12 Ga with a 5-round deteachable box magazine. The shotgun looked like an AK.

I've never seen one in a Mass shop. Are they legal here?

yes...i own 3 of them

you dont see them around because their importation was ceased as the company was bought out...so for now...whatever is out there o nthe market is out there

theyre awesome guns...i own a saiga in .308, .223, 12 gauge, and 2 20 gauges

My dealer has one on his rack. I believe that they were legal for a time, he had a fair selection of various Saiga models. The shotgun came back in a while ago. If you are interested it's Personal Defense Specialist in South Hadley, (413)533-9286. Tell Joe that I referred you to him.
