AR15 used to kill 3 burglars

Says they exchanged words. They probably didn't believe he would shoot to defend himself and the other(s) in the home. Seems they were wrong.

You can assume with certainty that at least one of the perps was shot in the back. Id say both geographics and demographics are on the shooters side but this very same incident could and would have a far different outcome in a different time zone. I truly hope for a happy and deserved outcome but remember one size does not fit all...

Wagoner County sheriff's deputies were called to the home in Broken Arrow, southeast of Tulsa at around 12:30 p.m. local time. When they arrived, they found the three dead suspects and two uninjured residents.

Home invasion gone right?

well there's a lesson here, don't exchange words with a guy holding an ar15 unless you're holding an ar16, or an ar17 or an ar18....[rofl]

Wasn't it just a few years ago some govt dildos were saying ar15s were well suited to home defense? Well how much better could the kid have done, 3/3 is batting 100%.

Dropped 2 in the house and 1 made it to the driveway.

Good thing he wasn't limited to 10 rounds.

Deputies said Elizabeth Rodriguez, 21, was arrested after authorities said she drove the three intruders to the Broken Arrow residence. Rodriguez was arrested on three counts of first-degree murder and three counts of first-degree burglary.
It gets better! The getaway driver got away... until she started talking to the police.

One person is in custody after three suspects in a Wagoner County home invasion were shot to death Monday afternoon by one of the residents.

According to the Wagoner County Sheriff's Office, the suspects' getaway driver has been arrested. The 21-year-old woman turned herself in at the Broken Arrow Police Department hours after the shooting, saying she had information. Wagoner County investigators interviewed her at the police department and subsequently arrested her.

Investigators haven't released the names of anyone involved but say the deceased suspects are between 16 and 18 years old. Two of the suspects were armed, according to investigators. One with a knife and the other with brass knuckles.
. . .
Deputy Nick Mahoney says the preliminary investigation shows that the three suspects went to the residence with the intent to burglarize the home. "They were dressed in black, all had masks on, and all had gloves on," said Mahoney.

Serious question.
I know if you attack someone with a knife or knuckles in MA you ll be charged with assault with a deadly weapon.
Do you think in this case the robbers wouldn't be considered "armed" because of the outcome (if this took place in MA) or there is no arguing that those are weapons regardless of situation?

you only wear brass knuckles for one reason...to seriously mame or f*** someone up. in my court its a deadly weapon

They charged the driver with murder? as in it's her fault for dropping them off to rob a house with armed occupants?

That's awesome. If one of them survived, he should have been charged for murder of the others ones too.

Just because they found him in the driveway doesn't mean he was shot when running. Sometimes it takes time to drop.

And he would have been.
A death during the commission of a felony, even a hear attack, will get those committing the felony charged.

Yes and yes. The concept is that all persons participating in a felony are responsible for any death that results from the commission of that felony (felony murder rule). In MA I believe it has to be an "inheritly dangerous felony" (as an ADA explained to a friend whose wife was killed by someone in a stolen car trying to outrun police. The ADA did not consider the "unauthorized use of motor vehicle" an inheritly dangerous felony and refused to bring felony murder charges).

The best felony murder rap thing I've ever heard of was that guy who shot his wife's boyfriend in a vehicle in their yard.

Basically this guys wife was shacking up with this dude on the side and he was fooling around with her in the driveway of her house in a vehicle.

Dumb broad sees her husband walking up the driveway while they're in the middle of playing hide the weenie, and starts yelling RAPE RAPE etc, husband sees this, sees the dude "on" his wife in a truck, pulls his gun and shoots the guy dead right there.

Kopsch come and when the whole mess unravels, she gets arrested, bagged, tagged and convicted of murder for the death of her "boyfriend." Husband walks because felony murder rule bags wife.

The husband probably should have bought himself a fistful of powerball tickets after that shit. [laugh]
