tl:dr. Can I sell an AR15 lower without an eFA10?

So i bought an AR15 lower a few months back, hasn't gotten around to doing much to it. I want to sell it. I've used my 4 personal transfers, but I've read I don't need to use a eFA10 on a AR Lower. Can someone help explain a little further for me? I'm really confused on the whole process. So would I have to go to an FFL to complete this? Better yet, can I just do a bill of sale?

Yes - person to person in state. Ma does not consider the lower as a firearm

You can do a bill of sale if you want or just trade cash and a handshake

To further clarify - the definitions of the various gun types in MA law all contain some variation of the phrase "capable of discharging a shot or bullet". Since an AR lower isn't capable of discharging a shot or bullet, it isn't a gun, and therefore doesn't need to be transferred on an eFA10.
