I'm looking to purchase an AR-15. Any restrictions in Rhode Island?

Well, there is one exception. There are no NFA items allowed in RI unless they are "owned" buy a dealer. As long as it is a semi-automatic AR and a minimum length of 16 inches, you can have whatever you want. No mag restrictions, no AWB restrictions.

I purchad mine at Heritage in West Warwick, very good prices and friendly staff

Watch out those non restricted AR15's are extra killy. Be careful with them.
