AR-10 DPMS lower

I may be able to get a DPMS lower from the GB (someone doesn't want theirs). I looked at the DPMS uppers and they all have no forward assist, dust covers and the picatinny rail is raised. All deal breakers for me.

What brand uppers can I put on it?

I think if I were to do a 308 AR I would look into ASA's side charger. Seems cool, and a bit different. They guarantee 1/2 MOA accuracy FWIW.

$2400 is about $1200 more than I am willing to spend.

You could check Fulton Armory but I believe their uppers with what you want would be too much also.

They make the total price about $1400. I could live with that. It just seems like using an upper not made by DPMS is not worth the hassle. If only there was a mil spec...
