I just need to figure out a base for the front sight. This is a M1a front sight but same solution needed. Ideally a base with a dove tail going 90’ to the mount
To mount the sight
The rear sight is all done I just have to blue or park the base

What I need is a front sight base like this
But with screw holes to mount it

Is such a base available or do you need a custom one made?

Could be accomplished with a few hand files and drill or a Hermle C62 machining center.

You could silver solder the appropriate dovetail onto that existing base.

I am not sure if there is a base out there.
Im getting lazy and making shit with files is low on my do list. For now I will just run it with a front aperture sight.
Which I need a taller base/sight for. As it stands its zeroed for 200 yards with rear sight only up a few clicks.
