Features

  • Environmental monitoring: Prevent equipment failure from a full range of threatening environmental conditions.
  • Fault notification: Real-time event notification minimizes response times to critical physical infrastructure situations. Enables IT Administrators to reduce mean time to repair, improve efficiency, and maximize uptime.
  • Door Access monitoring: Detect access by unauthorized personnel via door switch.
  • Switched Outlet: Remote reboot equipment, or activate a connected device when configured events occur - for example, a fan may be connected to this outlet, and the outlet may be configured to turn on when a high threshold violation occurs for a temperature sensor.
  • Modbus output: Reports information from the NetBotz appliances to a third party device via RS-485.
  • Customizable Output Relays: Control output from external devices via output relay(s).
  • Adjustable threshold: Customize threshold definitions (multiple thresholds per sensor, scheduling, severity levels) to your requirements.
Management

  • Browser Accessible: View the user interface with a browser. Provides quick access from anywhere on a secure network.
  • Password Security: User-selectable password protection prevents unauthorized access, authorized against LDAP and Active Directory servers
  • Enterprise management system compatible: Make device information available to your preferred enterprise management system by forwarding SNMP traps (events) across SNMPv1, SNMPv2 and SNMPv3 using the PowerNet MIB
  • Integrates with StruxureWare Data Center Expert: An IT-ready, scalable access monitoring system that collects, organizes, and distributes critical alerts, surveillance video and key information, providing a unified view of complex physical infrastructure environments from anywhere on the network
Sensors

  • 4 Sensor Ports for connecting temperature, humidity, smoke, door, vibration, spot fluid, and third-party dry contact and 0–5 V sensors.
  • Third-party dry contact sensors require the NetBotz Dry Contact Cable (NBES0304). To connect a sensor to the cable, follow the instructions provided with the sensor and the instructions provided with the cable.
  • Standard third-party 0-5 V sensors require the NetBotz 0-5 V Sensor Cable (NBES0305). To connect a sensor to the cable, follow the instructions provided with the sensor and the instructions provided with the cable.
  • Sensor Pods (A-Link): A-Link ports are used to cascade up to twelve NetBotz Rack Sensor Pod 150s (NBPD0150) and a combined total of eight Temperature Sensors with Digital Display (AP9520T) and Temperature/ Humidity Sensors with Digital Display (AP9520TH). Provides communications and power using standard CAT-5 cabling with straight-through wiring.
