anyone want to test some lead for hardness for me?

I could bring my Cabintree to the Holbrook shoot if you are attending. What shape is the lead in?
The tester works well with bullets and not as well with odd shapes.

The Lee tester is $52.99 and is worth it if you are going to be smelting/casting more lead than what you have in hand in the future.
Have you shot any of the bullets?
Note that all commercial cast bullets are way harder than needed. 12-15 BHN and 50:50 lube has worked great for me in .30-30 and .30-06 for several decades.
