I'm chilled but I'll be damned if I'll crank the heat on yet. I gotta admit that it's tempting though.

Tell the truth. I bet someone has turned their heat on.

It felt below 65 in the house so I checked the thermostat. Low battery. Replaced and it was 64. The circulating pump kicked on and soon after the boiler. It had run earlier for hot water so was not required initially.

Everything still works...

Yes, summer is over

My house was 60 this morning, outside temp was 37 when I left the house. I haven't turned on the heat yet but it won't be long at this rate...

I have turned the temp control knob in my car from cool to heat during my morning commutes for a few days, but that's it.

This is perfect weather. I love it when you no longer need A/C to sleep at night.

I love the cold and I thought this morning felt great. Slept with my window wide open last night and, unlike in the dead of winter, didn't mind getting out from under the covers at all. Usually the heat stays off through October even. If I'm not shivering in a flannel shirt and hoodie, it's not cold enough for heat yet.

Got the wood stove going in the living room Saturday night to take the chill out, per BBQ.Auntie's request. Great weather for sleeping IMO.

Yes, I went into heat mode this morning, but before I left for work I switched back to AC figuring it might warm up an need it.

After several decades of working in the worst of all weather (hot and cold), I really don't care what it cost to be comfortable in my own home.

Nope. I had my window open last night. Nice crisp cool fall air had me sleeping like a baby.

I kicked it on this morning for a bit to get the chill out only because of the kids. I love this weather and slept with the bedroom window open.

I refuse to...I woke up this morning it was 65 in the house. The kids complained that they were cold, but them put on shorts to wear to school.

In the summer I keep the ac on 72 and they on occasion will turn it to 67. If they want it to be 67 in july, 65 in September is fine

Fujitsu ductless heat and a/c equipment - Auto Set to 72, when its warm the a/c is on when its cold the heat kicks in. Costs me pennies on the dollar of any other conventional system so I just let it make the decisions for me.

I wear shorts until after Thanksgiving. If I get cold I go to the sweatshirt before I even think about the heats. Usually no heat until the first week of November and that's when the irrigation system gets purged and the wife starts to complain about how cold it is. House is in direct sun so it heats up pretty good during the day.

Refusing to turn it this early. House was 65 this morning and wife was complaining. I did pull out the space heaters, so she can take the chill out the room.

I had my AC on last night..[smile].

Chilly this morning though at a mere 40ish. Had to wear pants for my run and an undershirt.

Fall is here I guess...

I had my first no heat call this morning! In Boston the heat has to be on in rental units today. From 09/15 to 06/15.

I'm holding out, wife understands and is willing to layer up. But it will be a good excuse to fire up the new to me pellet stove that came with the house to see how it operates.
