Here’s the the choice edible lookalike that I found today. Armallaria gallica- the Honey mushroom. White spore print, veil around the stape, fine hairs on cap with more darker hairs toward the middle, yellow tinge around bulbous base, and white flesh. Younger specimens where the veil still covers the gills are the best.

Dumb people choose to eat mushrooms they don’t thoroughly vet. I have copious amounts of the equally dangerous one, Destroying Angel, on my land.

Lots of black trumpets. This one spot produces a load every year.

A type of Edulis I’ve yet to identify but it smells and tastes good. Possibly Leccinum subglabripes.

They are indeed. That one is past dates but I’m going on one single picture. A few shots of younger shrooms is necessary as well a spore print and more picture angles to be 100%.

Looks like a fake morel. Can't recall the technical name. If it is, it's a no go.
