Anyone here still think that Obama isn't after your guns?
Back in the last election there were a few here on this site that were backing up Barry and claiming he wasn't a gun grabber. Where are you at now wise asses?

Well, "When you all go home and you're talking to your buddies and you say, ah 'He wants to take my gun away.' You've heard it here, I'm on television so everybody knows it. I believe in the Second Amendment. I believe in people's lawful right to bear arms. I will not take your shotgun away. I will not take your rifle away. I won't take your handgun away."

He said it and he won't lie to us to hide his agenda, now would he?

At least there will be a lot more who try to resist him in free states then leading tyrannical state governments locally (NY, MA, and I'm sure IL CA and CT are next).

Alex Jones said it right, foreign banks + local banks (FED) and mega corporations have the US by the balls and leading the US exactly on the path they want. It started, new world order is coming. In time US will fall, same as the rest of the world. Government made sure that majority of US population is too passive to give a damn.

Helpful or not there were people on this site who in September, October, and November that actually bought into the shit the glorious leader was telling them.

Ok.... I'm pretty sure the fight is ahead, not behind. Stay focused. There's no point in some half assed witch hunt for Obama supporters now.

Fools will believe whatever they want to believe. The self-described liberal democrat 2A supporters on here are nothing more than walking oxymorons.

I felt a need to prove a point, that some even on this site acted like sheep.

XTAV750 is right though we are in for the fight of our lives ahead!

Watched a little O'Reilly last night. Even he has it all wrong. He is for AWB and a bunch of other meaningless restrictions. 2A supporters have our work cut out for us, and it should start with topic sheets for each conservative in a visible position.

I'd like to avoid getting into an epic war like last year, so I'm just going to say my piece and try my best to avoid getting to sucked in.

I'm a liberal. I don't like Obama. Probably for different reasons than you, but I don't like him. I voted for him in '08 but voted 3rd party last year.

That said, I think Obama is just a shrewd politician. I think he (and most Dems) genuinely wanted to avoid the gun issue while in office, as they knew it was a shitstorm. And he did so for most of his term, even in the wake of a spate of mass shootings. But then Sandy Hook came, and what choice did he really have, given his constituency? So he's floated some relatively tame stuff that might not even pass Congress, so he can say that he did something. But I really don't think he gives a shit about guns and would prefer that the whole issue just went away, as I suspect most Dems do (state pols are another story).

There are a lot of people out there like me, liberals or moderates who support the 2A. They might not even own guns. There are compelling, logical pro-gun arguments that appeal to these people; they can be won over. Even arguments about preventing government tyranny, if posed in a calm and reasoned fashion. But all of that gets thrown out the window when pro-gunners drop the retarded Obama conspiracy bullshit. It's like Alex Jones on Piers Morgan, it makes us all look stupid and crazy.

So leave the quips at non-related political issues like Obamacare out of it. I'm trying to get my young, liberal friends here in the Cambridge/Somerville area on board, and they are open to reason, believe it or not. But it's getting difficult with the NRA and co drowning me out with conspiracy theories.

Mainstream media can't be trusted. Fox is no better than CNN.

The only show not taken over by the mainstream media worth watching is Stossel Thursday nights at 9 on the Fox Business Network

If they voted for Obama they are not open to reason and Obamacare actually does pertain to the gun rights discussion

Meh, just like all the people who were believing everything their Great White Hype was telling them too.

Again, this is helpful how? Or are you just trying to rub someone's nose in a puddle of piss for jollies?

Make_MA_2A_Compliant: We all know Romnuts would have tripped over himself in giddiness in making something like this happen.

I still think he will wait until he has one or more new minions on the SC, until he starts a full scale war, meaning confiscation, against us. The SC will give him the fig leaf of leagality to abolish the 2nd Amd. for all practical purposes.

It's not about the "witch hunt" - well maybe a little. It's about taking what people have said in the past - and using it to completely discredit anything they say - when they are defending politicians who are dismantling the country and screwing us over on an ever increasing basis.

The last few weeks have been one screw job after another, either gun rights - or higher taxes - or both.

The TRUTH about guns - I.E. that guns in civilian hands REDUCES murders - has been shouted to the rooftops - and yet they still want to ban them.

The TRUTH about government spending is right there in black and white - and yet they still won't MAKE CUTS - and they want to RAISE TAXES.

The government just simply wants to **** you long and hard - and without lube. There's a bunch of us who've been saying this day was coming - and bunch of other people people who just stuck their heads up their asses and said "no way - won't happen'.

It's sort of nice in a way to finally reach the point where we can tell them flat out how freaking wrong they were - it's just too bad it's got to entail a complete pork-job for the entire country to get there.

If "liberals" actually stood up for what they ostensibly claim to believe in - I.E. a Jeffersonian style democratic Republic - where the PEOPLE's rights were protected.........

We likely wouldn't even be having this discussion.

But the simple fact of the matter is - that the political party of "liberalism" in this country - the Democrats - has been largely responsible for the MASSIVE growth of government in this country - and has also largely been responsible for the massive infringements of rights that that government has undertaken.

If so called "liberals" actually stood up for what they CLAIM to be believe in - instead of hiding behind it while acting like fascists and socialists in reality - we would all be a lot better off.

The fact is that liberals in general - are just full of shit. They claim to want to protect rights - but all they ever do is trample on them. The list is extensive - and Obamacare and anti gun laws are just some of the many line items.

I agree. I've had the "I ****ing told you so" conversation recently too. I was just trying to point out here that we should keep our heads in the fight in front of us.
