Came across a Savage model 219 in Dads old shop.
It's in 30/30
Took it apart and cleaned it today.
The stock had mold on it but it cleaned up nice.
Rust on the outside of the barrel, but the rifling looks like brand new.
Internals surprisingly clean and rust free.
Going to give it a test fire this weekend.
If she's a good shooter , I may get the barrel reblued and refinish the wood.
Anyone else have one and what's your opinion?
