The local gun store had like new cans for $10. Online is selling for $20 or more after shipping. I'll have to check tractor supply.
this is a good point. Costco and TS are gonna be Chinese im assuming. Im not looking to bury stuff in a bunker for a generation, just gonna be in my basement or in my truck.Do you want a USGI ammo can or a Chinese knockoff?
Dave
i was thinking that myself. $10 sounds pretty good to me. Think i paid $9 at TS and that was on sale.Sounds Like you already found a cheap source.
I’ve ordered from them before - decently priced, fast shipping.
you sir, are a world class skinflint. The local gun store had like new cans for $10. Online is selling for $20 or more after shipping. I'll have to check tractor supply.
Thanks, those are great prices. Have you ordered #2 or #3 grade, if so how was the condition?
How can you tell? Are they stamped? Just ordered one from Target Sports and now I’m curious (Also I like the Sherilynn Fenn)Do you want a USGI ammo can or a Chinese knockoff?
Dave

I also picked up 3 of these when I seen them on NES steals and deals for $19 each. Even at $22 for 3 and the tray they are ok. How much weight along with rough and tumble use they will hold up to?

I think so. Ive got some from Costco and TS. They dont seem to be flimsy to me and Im really just using them to store ammo and tools either in my basement or truck so they arent exposed to the elements, rough handling or any other out of the ordinary treatment. More than adequate for my needs. As with anything else, Id assume there are people out there who will except nothing less than the original product (which I have as well). The Chinese cans are more than sufficient and are excellent quality.
Then there are these by Blackhawk.......Made in USA.

i think the "catch" is you need a loading dock or fork truck? That's a very good deal! Their ad says it is eligible for free shipping too......unless thats just a baited hook.
That would be a great buy for a few guys to get in on.
You could sell them off for $9 each and make your money back and then some.Group Buy??
