Got my GOAL raffle tickets and info on the banquet May 19th at the Hilltop today...Just wondering if anyone else was planning on going?

Anyone going to the GOAL Banquet on May 19th?

I would like to go. Anyone know what time? I would have some serious logistics to make it up there in time if it's early.
But I would like to go. And I'm sure that I could get Nicolle to go being that it's at a steak house.

I think that this would be easier to do being that the only other one near me is Franklin, and it seems that that one is going to sell out because of Nancy Snow.

I'll probably be at the Franklin one for two reasons:
- Because it is the banquet set for "our region", and
- Because it is also to celebrate Nancy Snow's 20th year (she just passed that the other day) and her 50th Birthday (she didn't really appreciate my advanced congratulations on that the other day![[smile]](/xen/styles/default/xenforo/smilies.vb/001.gif "Smile [smile]")

I've known Nancy since she was hired by GOAL and I've worked with her all of these 20 years. She is the lifeblood and backbone of GOAL!
I hope it works out, since I don't think they have posted a specific date for it yet.

I'm thinking I'd like to go...It'd be cool if we had an NES table.
Well...I was planning on hitting the Steak House for it, however, we have a Living History event that weekend, so I'll be in Confederate Gray.
For those that want to sit together, call Nancy Snow at GOAL and ask her to reserve a table. You might want to ask how many are at a table. I suggest you get a number of how many are going and want to sit together, then call Nancy. Tables fill up pretty quick.

Just found out that I'll be going to the one in Franklin with BR&P in October.
Turns out that there will only be 100 seats sold at that one and it is the roast for Nancy Snow (GOAL Chief of Staff)!
