Anyone ever have a Toggle Rope?

We had these when I was in the Boy Scouts. It was wrapped twice around your waist to carry when out in the field. We made them ourselves It was originally carried by the British Commandos. They used to bundle items for carry and joined together they made a rope ladder.

It was actually a program concept we looked at bringing back to the Army a few years ago. . We used a 15 foot piece of tubular nylon with sewn loops on each end, you could join the pieces by just girth hitching the loops. never went anywhere. to bad it had lots of uses.
