Been happening with every video for a couple of days now, but if I click on the direct link, it plays fine.
Embedded videos on other sites play just fine... just not here.
Forum glitch, do I need to update something or is YouTube playing games again?
Not an issue for me, just wondering where the problem is?

Do you have an adblocker? YT has begun displaying this for people that are blocking their ads - it goes away after a refresh.

Yes, I do.

I'll just continue with the way things are now.

no big deal.

Were you using Safari? I just made a change that should have fixed it with that and a couple other edge case browsers.

I'm running Firefox 74.0.

The 'problem' as it were, went away a few days ago.

I didn't update or change anything here on my end.. no browser or MS updates.

Coincidentally, ARFCOM was having issues with embedded YouTube for everyone for at least 4-5 weeks.

There were no previews/thumbnails. You had to click on the url to watch the video.

That problem was cleared up but on my end I'm seeing previews that look like this on some videos...

"Failed To Load Title"...

Is this YouTube playing games again, a bug in my machine or a combination of both?

I'm running Win 7 Professional BTW if that's of any help.

Sounds like a problem on your end, I'm sorry to say. Upgrade that O/S man - you can get Windows 10 for free... Windows 7 is end-of-life.
