Anyone Built one??

it has an erecter set look to it, or is it just the website?

No, but it's still pretty sweet.

Did you watch the video? And because it only shoots out of one barrel at a time, it's legal to own. So it's not a class three. Thats' what I liked about it...

I've been thinking about doing it.

399 for the kit. Then you figure about 250 a piece for two 10/22s. So you looking at like 900 bucks to have it working.

That's what I'm not too sure about...

Anyone done it? Or have you thought about it?

http://gatlingguns.com/indexframeset.html

The only problem is getting pre-ban hicap mags for the Gatling gun. :( I have one 30 round banana magazine for the 10-22 that works fine, but finding the second could be tough.

Yea, it's just a matter of finding them. But they are out there. I need to get some for my 10/22 as well. And I'm sure that if I put more effort into finding them, I would come across them.

On the 10/22 mags . . . I still have 2 pre-ban for sale.

No, I won't let them go for the kind of money that new 10/22 hi-cap mags go for but I'm also not asking the prices that were seen pre-Fed AWB expiration.

I do not see any supply of pre-ban 10/22 hi-cap mags being sold, but I do not know why. Lots were sold back when they were legal, but even then I paid ~$15-20 each for them (one was bought at Colman's and the other at K-Mart back ~1988). I think it is because most of us own 10/22s and keep them forever. I just don't see a real need to keep the high-caps, although once my Wife tries shooting this gun, that might change. :)

A TOTALLY ILLEGAL alternative that more than one MA FFL told me was, "just go buy them across the state line, nobody will know"!! I do NOT advocate that, but I'm sure that is what a lot of folks (including dealers) are doing! Problem is that plastic technology HAS changed since 1994, and someone may get tripped up and face 10 year felony charges for what? Chance of getting caught may be small, but it is still playing with fire where we don't have to do so.

Do ya have a full auto Glock? [twisted]

Glock 18's aren't legal for private ownership in the US, since they were ALL made after the 1986 Full Auto Ban took effect.

Yeah but ANY model Glock can become full auto with a certain aftermarket selector switch that only cost me........ my friend 200 bucks. [twisted] [twisted]

Anyways, it looks neat but I can't watch the video because I think real player is evil and refuse to download it again. Bummer

C-pher, no that was something else that we discussed. I am 99% sure where that is, but it's a 20 minute project to remove everything that is in front of it, open the cabinet and pull that item out, then somehow put all the crap back in front of the cabinet again.

The 10/22 mags are in a bin with stuff to sell at the BR&P swap meets/collectors meetings. It only takes me ~3 minutes to locate them.

So, that silly ban on high capacity clips is also for rifles? I thought (was hoping) that it was just for handguns.

Who can we ask to get this law repealed? GOAL?

GOAL has already spoken out in favor of the law as reasonable. Granted, other things were in it such as the increasing the 4 year LTC top 6, but the fact remains that GOAL is on record as having supported the bill which contained a permanent statement of the > 10 round magazine ban.

Dude, if you can make them, will it be cheaper than this place?

Or, if we were to have one, can you reverse engineer them?

Reverse engineer? in my line of work it is frown upon, but we do it all the time. From what I saw on the kit online, I know I can Reverse that Bad Larry. It would take a little time but can be done. I have been brain storming and I may need to pick up a 10/22 so I can grab some dimensions. I have an Idea for my own.
