Any thoughts/opinions on the next S&W rebate?

I've noticed that S&W has run many rebates recently, the last of which seemed to expire a few days ago.

Any thoughts/opinions/premonitions on the next one? Or when?

Some of this is fact, some of this is speculation.

The fact is that S & W a few months ago dropped all of its rebate programs and instead dropped the price of its guns by a large percentage.

The speculation is that the rebate program had become a money-losing PITA to administer

That could very well be. I've been looking at the M&P line of pistols, and was trying to figure the best time to buy. I'd feel a little peeved if I bought it and the next day there was an offer of X dollars off or Y free magazines.

I know, one can never tell, but if anyone has any concrete info one way of the other concerning rebates, please give us all a heads up!
